Private Label Purchase Habits

Chicago-based CPG market research company IRI just released a study showing consumers still turning to private label products in a stable economy. Two-thirds of consumers plan to purchase private label more frequently in the coming six months. Among Millennials and lower-earning shoppers, three-quarters expect to buy more private label solutions during that time frame. The study revealed retailers such as Costco, Aldi, Lidl, Amazon.com, and online grocery retailer Brandless driving private label growth.
