| June 28, 2004 Manitowoc, WI -- Dan Blitz
(l.) was honored for his 55 years of service as a member of Lakeside Foods' Board of
Directors at the Company's recent annual shareholders' meeting.
He joined Lakeside in 1949, serving in various production and quality assurance
management capacities until his retirement from active employment in 1989. He remained as
a member of the Board of Directors until his retirement this spring.

Dan and his wife, Shirley, live in Manitowoc. They have two daughters, Jan (and Don)
Soeldner who live in Orlando, FL, and Betsy (and Tom) Kocourek who live in Manitowoc.
