To Our Valued Customers:
We are pleased to announce that on June 16th, 2003, Seneca Foods
Corporation has sold processing facilities located at Owatonna, MN and Eden and New
Richmond, WI to Lakeside Foods Inc.
Effective 7/1/03 you should begin sending your orders directly to either
Seneca Foods at Janesville, WI or to Lakeside Foods at Manitowoc, WI and discontinue
sending orders to New Richmond, WI, former headquarters of Chiquita Processed Foods.
Effective 7/1/03, Dry Soak Bean orders for shipment East of the Rocky Mountains should be
sent to Lakeside Foods at Manitowoc, WI and for Dry Soak Bean shipments West of the Rocky
Mountains, orders should be sent to Seneca Foods at Janesville, WI. Effective 7/1/03 all
Stokely, Festal, and Tendersweet branded retail orders should be sent to Seneca Foods at
Janesville, WI.
Once again our goal during the transition from Chiquita to Seneca and
Lakeside is to make customer service and order flow to you our customers as seamless as
possible, and hopefully we have accomplished this objective.
