Lakeside Food's Brooten Plant is a fully automated, state of the art frozen vegetable processing facility. Located in west-central Minnesota, Brooten's entire supply of raw vegetables comes from irrigated fields. This ensures both a predictable supply of raw product and finished product that has a much more consistent, uniform appearance.

Built in 1996, the Brooten Plant is one of the most automated vegetable processing facilities in the world. It has two freezing tunnels capable of producing 36,000 pounds of frozen peas, cut sweet corn, corn on the cob and lima beans per hour and has a cold storage capacity of 2,000,000 pounds of finished product.
