the nation's premier vegetable growing regions, southeastern Minnesota, the Plainview
Plant is among the industry's largest and most automated pea and corn manufacturing
facilities. Situated in over 650,000 square feet of modern space, the Plant has
state-of-the-art processing equipment and it is supported by an extensive fleet of
efficient harvesting equipment, from pod stripper pea combines to 6 row corn harvesters. Plainview also serves as a key distribution point for the Company, with
up-to-date labeling, packaging and shipping capability of both canned and frozen products.
Beyond its broad line of canned and frozen vegetables, Plainview also
has major production of canned meat as well as microwaveable entree meals, frozen pasta,
and related items under exclusive contract arrangements. |
