Faribault Foods (Minneapolis, MN) and Lakeside Foods (Manitowoc, WI)
announce that they have entered into a Letter of Intent whereby Faribault Foods' plant in
Mondovi, WI would be acquired by Lakeside Foods. The Mondovi facility produces
retail-sized canned green beans. Lakeside plans to retain the existing plant employees.
The transaction is subject to the completion of a Purchase Agreement and final approval by
both companies. Closing is expected in late January, 2004. |
