Dave Yanda has been promoted to the newly created
position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Lakeside Foods,
reporting to Doug Quick, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
In this new role, Mr. Yanda will continue to have
oversight responsibility for the Company's Sales, Customer Service, and
Quality Assurance functions, which will continue under the day-to-day
direction of Jeff Lund (Senior Vice President, Processed Food Sales), Bob
Popple (Vice President, Frozen Food Sales), Jim Ferguson (Vice President,
Customer Services), and Dave Aggen (Vice President, Quality Assurance and
Product Safety) respectively. In addition, Dave will also have
responsibility for oversight of the Operations function, and Jim Schwarzhoff
(Vice President, Operations) will report to him.
Mr. Quick will continue to have direct oversight of
the Finance & Administration and Human Resources functions, which will
continue to be managed on a daily basis by Russ Schmidt (Senior Vice
President, Administration & Finance), and Tom Reilly (Vice President, Human
Resources).

in his years at Lakeside and the respect of people both within and outside
of the Company."
Mr. Yanda joined Lakeside in 1973 and has held various
positions in Operations, Sales, and General Management, most recently as
Executive Vice President. He has also served as Corporate Secretary and is
currently a member of Lakeside's Board of Directors. He is past president of
the Wisconsin Canned Vegetable Council, and serves on a number of American
Frozen Food Institute committees. He has also served on the boards of the
United Way of Manitowoc County, the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA, and Session
of the First Presbyterian Church of Manitowoc. Mr. Yanda received his B.S.
in Industrial Education from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. He and his
wife, Sue, live in Manitowoc. They have three adult children and five
grandchildren. |
