RE: Promotions announced at Lakeside's Eden Plant

Manitowoc, WI October 18, 2006 --

| Rebeckah Eernisse
has been promoted to General Manager of Lakeside Foods' Eden facility. In this capacity,
she will be responsible for all plant operations, including production, warehousing,
labeling, shipping, human resources, quality, and payroll. Becky joined Lakeside in 2000
as the Belgium Plant's Accounting Manager. She was promoted to Warehouse Manager at
Belgium in 2004, the position she held prior to her most recent assignment.
Becky and her husband, Brian, live in Oostburg, WI. They have three adult children.

| Carlota Salazar has
been promoted to Manager of Human Resources and Accounting at Lakeside's Eden facility. In
this capacity, she will be responsible for all plant human resource and accounting
functions, including payroll, costing, budgeting, employment, safety, benefits
administration, and employee relations. Caro joined Lakeside in 1991 at the Belgium
Plant in a seasonal capacity and was hired into a full-time warehouse relief position in
2000. She was promoted in Belgium to Receptionist in 2001 and Accounting Manager in 2004,
the position she held prior to her recent assignment. Before joining Lakeside, she worked
as a paralegal assistant for the law firm of Rodriguez & Muniz in Eagle Pass, TX.
Caro received a degree in Office Administration from Southwest Texas Junior College.
She, her husband, Jaime, and daughter, Paulette, live in Belgium, WI. |
