RE: Promotions announced at Lakeside Foods' Manitowoc Plant

Manitowoc, WI September 26, 2006 --

John Andrew has been
promoted to General Manager at Lakeside Foods' Manitowoc Plant. In this capacity, he will
be responsible for all plant activities, including agriculture, vegetable and contract
production, quality assurance, human resources, payroll, and accounting. John joined
Lakeside as Agricultural Manager in 1995, the position he held prior to his promotion.
Prior to joining Lakeside, he was employed by Green Giant as Agricultural Supervisor. John
is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a B.S. in Agriculture
Education and minor in Mathematics. He is active in the Association for the
Developmentally Disabled, and is a coach for the Special Olympics. John and his wife,
Sandra, live in Manitowoc. They have two grown children.

Pat Dvorachek has been promoted to Agricultural Manager at Lakeside Foods'
Manitowoc Plant. In this capacity, he will be responsible for agricultural operations for
the Manitowoc, Belgium, and Seymour Plants, and assist in agricultural operations for the
Reedsburg facilities. Pat joined Lakeside in 1997 as Assistant Agricultural Manager at
Manitowoc, the position he held prior to his current assignment. He received a B.S. in
Agronomy from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Pat, his wife JoAnne, and
children, Eric, Tyler, and Bryce, live in Manitowoc.

| Janine Retzer has
been named Assistant Agricultural Manager at Lakeside's Manitowoc Plant. In this capacity,
she will assist in directing the agricultural program that provides diverse raw product to
Lakeside Plants in Manitowoc, Belgium, Seymour, and Reedsburg. Prior to joining Lakeside,
Janine served as Midwest Processing Sales Representative for Harris Moran and Crop
Production Specialist for Cenex-Land O' Lakes. Janine received a B.S. in Agronomy from the
University of Wisconsin - Madison. She lives in Reedsville, WI. |
