Manitowoc, WI October 19, 2005 --
Jeromy Nickelsen has been promoted to General Manager at Lakeside Foods' Random Lake, WI
plant. In this capacity, he will be responsible for all plant operations, including
agriculture, product processing, quality assurance, human resources, safety, accounting,
and payroll.Jeromy started his career with Lakeside in 1989 at the Plainview, MN
facility working in the field department in a seasonal capacity. He was hired into a
full-time forklift position in Plainview Contract Operations in 1992. In 1994 he was
promoted to Sanitation Supervisor and eventually to a Production Supervisor in Contract
Operations. He transferred to Lakeside's Belgium, WI plant in 1996 as Production
Supervisor. He was subsequently promoted in Belgium to Assistant Operations Manager in
1998 and Warehouse Manager in 2000. In 2004, he was named General Manager of Lakeside's
Eden, WI plant, the position he held prior to his most recent promotion.
Jeromy received his Associate Degree in Supervisory Management from Lakeshore Technical
College. He also earned his Wisconsin State Wastewater Operator license and is a member of
the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association.
