Customer Service Capabilities

As indicated in the "Promise to our Customers", we at Lakeside are all dedicated to providing service that meets or exceeds our Customers' expectations. To that end, we have implemented the following procedures over the past few years:

  • Our warehouse and label departments analyze all orders received and report initial status to our Customer Service Department within 24-36 hours of order receipt. If any potential service problems are communicated, our Customer Service Representatives are to contact the Customer immediately.
     

  • Our Customer Service Representatives have the information needed to give accurate order status information to our Customers.
     

  • We have EDI capabilities for Order Receipt, Invoicing, Continuous Replenishment Programs, and Advanced Ship Notices.
     

  • We have the capability of running solid pre-packaging programs for our Customers. Minimum/Maximum levels of packaged product can be maintained by us; this type of program has increased service levels and reduced lead times.
     

  • Every employee at Lakeside Foods has been introduced to our Customer Service Promise, and they realize that service to our Customers is an integral part of their job.

As a result of these and other efforts by all of our employees, we are proud to say that our annual on-time shipping performance consistently exceeds 99%!
