Remarkably, consumers are only paying 21.2% more for their canned and frozen vegetables than they did twenty-three years ago. This is by far the lowest price inflation of any food category.

Compare that to Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, where average consumer prices have increased by 183.1%. That means that fresh vegetable prices have nearly tripled in the last twenty-three years!
