Bruce Jacobson named Vice President, Operations at Lakeside Foods' Corporate Office

Bruce "Jake" Jacobson has been named Vice President, Operations at Lakeside Foods' Corporate Office. In this capacity, he will be responsible for all vegetable and contract operations throughout the company.
Jake joined Lakeside in 1988 as General Manager, Contract Operations in Plainview, MN. He was promoted to General Manager at the Belgium, WI facility in 1997, Director of Eastern Operations in 2003, and Director of Operations in 2008, the position he held prior to his new assignment.
Jake received his B.S. Degree in Political Science and History from Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, MO. He and his wife, Linda, live in Oostburg, WI. They have two adult children.
Lakeside Foods, founded in 1887, is a privately held, leading international food processor. It has headquarters in Manitowoc, WI, fifteen plants and eight distribution centers in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Ohio, and employs an average of 1700 people.
