Lakeside Foods Announces Changes to its Sales Management Team

Manitowoc, WI- Lakeside Foods has announced changes to its sales management team in order to provide increased focus and direction to the various market segments the company serves. In making the announcement, Dave Yanda, President and CEO, stated, "I am very enthusiastic about our sales leadership team. It will build on Lakeside's past success in providing our customers with high value products that are safe, innovative and delivered when they are requested."

Jeff Lund was elected to the newly created position of Sr. Vice President, International Sales/International Projects. In this capacity, he will be responsible for further development of Lakeside's international business. Jeff joined Lakeside in 1975, working in a variety of production positions in Manitowoc. He was promoted to various sales positions, most recently serving as Sr. Vice President, Processed Sales. Jeff received his BA in Business Administration & Accounting from Augustana College. He is currently a member of Lakeside's Board of Directors (serving as past Corporate Secretary) and has served on the boards of the Manitowoc Maritime Museum and Wisconsin Canned Vegetable Council. In addition, he has been involved in various National Food Processors Association committees, fund drives for the Capitol Civic Centre, United Way and Maritime Museum. Jeff and his wife, Judy, live in Manitowoc and have three children and three grandchildren.

Bob Popple was elected to the newly created position of Vice President, Food Service/Industrial/Chain Account Sales.
In this capacity, he will be responsible for further development of these important areas of Lakeside business. Bob joined Lakeside in 1990 as Account Manager in Frozen Food Sales. He was promoted to various sales management positions, most recently serving as Vice President, Frozen Food Sales. Bob received his BBA from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. He is past treasurer of the Manitowoc Youth Hockey Program and has volunteered for community organizations, including the United Way. Bob and his wife, Lori, live in Manitowoc and have two children.

Dave Allen was elected to the position of Vice President, Retail Frozen Food Sales. In the capacity, he will be responsible for all of the sales, forecasting, budgeting, implementation and strategy of Lakeside's Frozen Food Sales program to the retail market. Dave joined Lakeside as Director, Frozen Food Sales in 2007 and was promoted to Director, Marketing in 2009, the position he held prior to his promotion. He received is BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. He is involved in his children's sports activities. Dave and his wife, Paula, live in Suamico, WI and have two children.

Joe Yanda was elected to the position of Vice President, Retail Processed Food Sales. In this capacity, he will be responsible for all of the sales, forecasting, budgeting, implementation and strategy of Lakeside's Processed Food Sales program to the retail market. Joe joined Lakeside in 1999 as Quality Assurance Technician at the Corporate Office and was promoted into various processed food sales positions, most recently as Sales Manager, the position he held prior to his most recent promotion. He received his MS in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College and his BA in Biology from Luther College. Joe and his wife, Jen, live in Manitowoc and have two children.
