Profile

Originally built in 1967, the Manitowoc Distribution Center was at first the remote warehouse operation for the Manitowoc Plant. Since then it has been significantly expanded, and today serves as the primary frozen packaging facility for the Company.

Since the mid 1980's this facility has grown to be a major frozen packaging center with state-of-the-art scale filling equipment in sizes from 10 ounces to 55 pounds, and the production of a wide variety of blended vegetable products. A multi-million dollar expansion in 1995 once again dramatically increased this center's capability in both frozen and canned food distribution.

An extensive quality assurance program monitors all inbound and outbound products to assure compliance with rigorous specifications. Operational teams are in place to assure that service and productivity goals are met.
