Henry F. White, Jr. elected to Lakeside Foods Board of Directors

Manitowoc, WI  September 26, 2005 --

Henry F. White, Jr., a New York City resident, graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the Fordham University School of Law, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Lakeside Foods, Inc. In addition to his Board responsibilities, he will chair the Finance/Audit Committee and be a member of the Human Resources Committee.

Mr. White is currently President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Institute of International Container Lessors, the trade association for the worldwide container and chassis leasing industries, and serves on the Commercial Operations Advisory Committee for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

A former member of the law firms, Hill, Betts & Nash, and Barger & Wolen, he also served as Deputy Commissioner of Transportation and later as Counsel to the Mayor of the City of New York.

Concurrent with his legal and government positions, Mr. White served on active and reserve duty in the U.S. Navy for 36 years, retiring in 2004 as Vice Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command in the rank of Rear Admiral.
