Manitowoc, WI (Oct. 8, 2019) – Lakeside Foods, through its joint venture Peak Foods, has acquired Blendtopia, a startup company based in Nashville that makes high-quality, nutritionally rich superfood smoothies available at select retail outlets and online.
Blendtopia’s founder Tiffany Taylor will join Peak Foods and coordinate sales, marketing and product development for the smoothie line. The Peak Foods team will assume manufacturing and operations responsibilities, including procurement, inventory management and logistics.

For Lakeside, the investment represents its commitment to continuing to grow and diversify the product portfolio of Peak Foods. The partnership will help Blendtopia expand its retail footprint and aggressively grow sales to appeal to ultra-healthy smoothie and juice fans.
Retail partners will benefit from Peak’s commitment to superior customer service and distribution capabilities. In the meantime, Blendtopia fans will experience no changes to the product formulas they have come to love or delivery disruptions to their online subscriptions.
