Lakeside Foods Purchases Former Investors Bank Building

Manitowoc, WI (August 24, 2022) –  Today, Lakeside Foods completed a real estate transaction to purchase the former Investors Bank/Manitowoc Company office building on South 44th Street on the city’s west side. Lakeside Foods purchased the building from Nicolet Bank, which acquired Investors Bank last year.

The company will make minor renovations to fit its space needs, including adding a Quality Assurance lab, and anticipates moving its corporate team into the new space in spring 2023.

Lakeside Foods has been at its current downtown Hamilton Street location since 2000, when it purchased the former public library from the city. Since then, the company has grown its business significantly and has run out of space in the current building. Lakeside currently has 149 corporate office employees and projects continued growth in the coming years.
