Lakeside Foods was named as United Way Manitowoc County’s 2025 Workplace Partner of the Year. This award reflects the collective effort of employees across the company who gave their time and support throughout 2025.
United Way Manitowoc County honored Lakeside Foods at their annual Appreciation Luncheon, celebrating the workplace partners, volunteers, and community supporters who helped drive the organization’s impact over the past year.
The results from 2025 speak for themselves:
- 9,714 books distributed to local children
- 509 volunteers were engaged
- 705 people helped during times of crisis
- $6,750 distributed toward anti-hunger projects
- Launched Techquity, an initiative aimed at expanding access to technology in the community.
Lakeside Foods employees fueled that impact through pledge donations, a silent auction of company parking spaces, and a penny war that brought out some friendly competition across the team. Each of those efforts contributed to the total support Lakeside Foods provided to United Way throughout the year, and together they added up to something the community could feel.
United Way Manitowoc County brings together businesses, volunteers, and neighbors around a shared commitment to making the county a better place to live. Lakeside Foods is proud to be a part of that effort over the years.
