Bean harvest kicked off July 9th in the Midwest, and corn is now coming in everywhere the company grows, with the Pacific Northwest starting July 26th, Minnesota July 28th, and Wisconsin on August 7th. This coordinated, region-by-region push keeps Lakeside Foods’ commitment to quality and food safety intact from field to freezer bag.
What’s Already In, and What’s Still Coming
Pea harvest wrapped on August 4th in Random Lake, closing out a successful pack, and lima bean harvest got underway in late August. Looking ahead:
- Corn and beans are being harvested across all three regions now.
- Carrots and beets remain on track for an early October start.
- Dry beans, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, and spinach are all moving through their own planting or harvest windows this fall.
