Lakeside Foods will continue to operate throughout the COVID-19 outbreak to process and distribute food throughout the country.
As a food manufacturer, Lakeside Foods is an essential business helping to support the nation throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our priority is to continue to deliver products to our retail customers to meet consumer demand while helping protect our employees.
We’ve ramped up production at our packaging and labeling sites. Our facilities operate under the highest FDA certification for food safety, and we’ve implemented social distancing and hygiene measures for our production facility employees, in accordance with CDC and OSHA workplace recommendations. We’ve transitioned many of our Corporate Office employees to remote working arrangements, and we’re closely monitoring our employee teams to address concerns as they arise.
At Lakeside, our overriding culture is an agricultural mindset where everyone pulls together when needed. We’re proud that our employees are doing just that during this challenging time.
Lakeside continues to fill critical job openings in all locations, including mechanics, maintenance technicians, production machine operators, and forklift drivers. We will also begin hiring seasonal workers for our field and production operations in the coming months as we enter our busy harvest season.
