Lakeside Foods Donates Nearly $300,000 in Product to Food Pantries in 2020
Manitowoc, WI (Feb. 17, 2021) – In 2020, Lakeside Foods donated canned and frozen products totaling nearly $300,000 in retail value to food banks and pantries in Wisconsin and the greater Midwest to help them meet the needs of those struggling with food insecurity during the challenging year.
“We’re proud to do our part to deliver nutritious, shelf-stable food items to families in need through donations to food pantries throughout the communities where we operate,” said Joe Yanda, chief operating officer.
In addition to local pantries near Lakeside’s production facilities, the company also donated products to the Midwest Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank, Feeding America and Main Street Mission.
